Current Vacancies

Technical Engineer

Reporting to our Technical Manager you will join our highly experienced engineering team delivering solutions to our customers. You will be able to work as part of the team or on your own to deliver IT support and services to our customers on their sites. You will also be expected to help maintain our internal IT systems.

You will use the internal CRM system and ensure compliance with UK health and safety procedures as well as our own internal policies and procedures to:

  • Specify, install and support enterprise grade WLAN systems
  • Install IT hardware and software for all 3 divisions of the business
  • Provide pre sales support to help the sales team close new business
  • Provide post sales support and deal with incoming customer technical queries.
  • Provide out of hours cover for maintenance contracts.
  • Carry out regular maintenance of customer equipment

The Candidate

 The successful candidate will have experience specifying, configuring and maintaining enterprise grade wireless LANs.

It is essential that you are comfortable configuring, monitoring and fault finding networking hardware at the command line level. You will also have experience of working with Active Directory, and integrating hardware and users for authentication via Radius Servers.

You should be a team player but also with the ability to work alone at times and understand the need for professional behaviour and exceptional service delivery to our customers.

The work will require you to work at heights and be confident working with harnesses and other safety equipment. You will also be aware of all health and safety requirements for on-site working.

You must have a full clean drivers licence.

You must be prepared to work long hours, work away from home and take part in the on call rota system supporting our customers with 24/7 maintenance support contracts.

You must also be happy to go through CRB checking and customer/government led security clearance procedures to enhanced level.

It would be an advantage if you have a CCNA qualification, and administrator level qualification for an Enterprise WLAN system.

Telemarketing Executive - Data Centre

Reporting directly to the Marketing Manager and working closely with the data centre sales team you will use the customer relationship management (CRM) system, containing the AIT data base and contact lists, to find and develop new business opportunities. You will have an open, flexible mind set and be willing learn best practices and try new ideas to develop sales for the business.

You will be expected to:

  • contact businesses by telephone and email in order to solicit sales for goods and services speaking positively and enthusiastically about the company and its products and services ensuring professionalism and brand image at all times.
  • explain products or services and prices and respond to customer enquiries.
  • provide follow up information to customers, as required.
  • obtain customer information and enter onto the company database.
  • maintain the database with opportunities, etc including data cleansing, as required.
  • schedule appointments for sales team and/or arrange customer presentations.
  • follow up marketing campaigns and events to generate new prospect leads by telephone.
  • engage and interact with decision makers at a senior level to identify new and emerging business opportunities.
  • assist with the production and administration of marketing collateral.
  • conduct customer/market surveys in order to obtain information about potential customers.

The Candidate:

Previous sales experience would be an advantage but more importantly we are looking for a candidate who is keen to develop a successful sales career within the company and learn both technical and sales specific skills in order to maximise sales and ultimately profit for the company. Exposure to IT industry would be an advantage but not essential, training will be given to the successful candidate to enable them to learn and progress in the role.

You must be a team player with a desire to work hard and be results driven.

We would like the successful candidate to aim to move towards a business development consultancy role within 12-18 months.
